We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity at our Extra Care service in Hull. We are a large extra care service which provides care and support for older adults with a range of additional needs within their own homes.
Responsibilities
- As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will work alongside another colleague to support running of the service through the night with the support of local and national on‑call services.
- Provide person‑centred support, including personal care to a high standard in adherence with care plans, maintaining dignity and respect for individuals throughout.
- Collaborate with colleagues, agencies, families and carers, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Oversee service safety through the night between 10pm and 8am: including taking emergency calls and responding to emergency situations, taking planned care calls, checking CCTV, providing a thorough handover during shift changeovers.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 12 months’ experience in care is essential for all Relief roles.
- Applicants must be located in and eligible to work within the UK.
