Part-time Volunteer role with Creative Support, a frontline "extra care" service. The role is designed to bring joy and confidence to older adults with support needs, through gardening activities and related social interaction. We’re looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and friendly volunteer with great communication skills and a positive approach, who enjoys being outdoors and bringing ideas to life.

Volunteer Duties

  • Support people with gardening activities, including planting, watering, and light maintenance
  • Provide practical assistance and encouragement while gardening
  • Ensure all areas are tidied and tools cleaned and stored after sessions
  • Report any safeguarding concerns to staff
  • Understand and work within Creative Support policies and procedures, respecting boundaries
  • Attend regular supervision with allocated supervisor and complete any training provided

Hours

Flexible days within working hours (between 9am and 5pm)
