We are looking to welcome a Support Coordinator within our South Manchester mental health recovery services in Wythenshawe. Full time or part time available. Minimum of 22.5 hours. Flexible work pattern on rota planned well in advance. This post is an ideal opportunity to become involved in dynamic and varied recovery services that give real job satisfaction whilst utilising your experience in a senior position. You will have excellent line management support.
Creative Support has been delivering mental health services in South Manchester for nearly 30 years. You will be part of a team that embodies that experience whilst contributing your valued skills to our future development. You will be given full training to do the role and bespoke training in all aspects of the mental health services in Manchester including trauma informed care.
Responsibilities:- Support a range of people and families with mental health needs to enjoy independence, choice, recovery and quality of life.
- Provide practical assistance with daily living and develop a wide range of activities that promote wellbeing.
- Support move-on to greater independence and work flexible shifts on a rota planned well in advance to meet individual needs in a personalised way.
- Supervise staff (experience desirable) and contribute to the senior leadership team on a monthly basis.
- Experience of supervising staff is desirable.
- Prior experience and possession of a relevant qualification is desirable.
- Guaranteed Contracted Hours – full time (37.5 hours) or part time (below 37.5 hours)
