We are looking for a Female Senior Support Worker within our South Manchester mental health service in Fallowfield, supporting adult females who have an enduring mental health diagnosis. The service provides 24 hour support which includes a waking night team.
You will assist the senior management team in the co-ordination and operational management of our mental health supported accommodation service. Ensuring that a high quality service is maintained at all times. To take delegated responsibility for key functions and tasks. To ensure support is provided to service users with mental health needs, increasing independence for move on form the service. To support the service delivery of CQC registered personal care and ensure the support team deliver this a designed in support plans.
We are seeking people who have a real interest in the social care sector and are seeking to work in services that have recovery based approaches. We have well established services which are able to offer the support needed to develop into more senior roles. We work with recovery approaches and ensure all support and risk management is bespoke to each person we work with.
You will be part of a team and receive supervision throughout the probationary process to ensure you have the knowledge and skills needed. You will have the opportunity to work with other professionals in the sector in this role as you are very closely involved in service user\’s day to day lives and support needs.
