Deputy Service Manager – responsible for the operational management of a specialist registered care home that supports people with learning and/or physical disabilities, including those with epilepsy and dysphagia.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Registered Manager to ensure the service consistently meets CQC and contract standards through robust quality and monitoring/auditing processes.
- Maintain a cohesive and coordinated service, delivering fully integrated care, support and housing to clients.
- Ensure personalised care and support is delivered in accordance with agreed care plans, enhancing clients’ well‑being, quality of life and community connections.
- Promote a culture of responsive, person‑centred practice and active support throughout the service, building relationships based on respect and unconditional positive regard.
Qualifications
- Significant practitioner or management experience in services for people with learning and physical disabilities.
- Relevant professional qualification (for example, Diploma in Social Work, RMN NVQ 3/4/5) and/or a degree level or postgraduate qualification.
- Willingness to engage in continuous professional development, supported by Creative Support’s structured induction and values‑led training pathway.
