You will ensure staff are skilled in promoting recovery and positive engagement, building relationships based on respect and unconditional positive regard. You will be committed to community asset-based approaches and be able to collaborate creatively with community partners, as our delivery model is characterised by the use of volunteers and peer supporters, as well as paid staff and by close partnership working with statutory mental health services and voluntary agencies.
You must have at least 3 years' experience in working with people with mental health needs within a person-centred, recovery-focused framework. You must be able to demonstrate knowledge of mental health needs and conditions, recovery principles, and helpful interventions. You will have skills in promoting independence, tenancy sustainment, and positive risk management, and be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate staff and promote effective teamwork. You will also need strong verbal and written communication, with confident IT skills, as you will be responsible for collating data and using electronic monitoring, as well as writing assessments, reports, and support plans.
