Creative Support is looking for a caring, dynamic and highly motivated person to manage our varied portfolio of social care services in Blackpool. You will be responsible for maintaining an overview of all services, leading a highly motivated team of managers and contributing to the further development of services within the region. You must be an accomplished manager and have extensive experience and knowledge of working within the social care sector in support of people with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
Responsibilities
- Oversee current service provision in the Blackpool area, including:
- Supported living services for people with a learning disability and people on the autistic spectrum, including people with additional complex care and communication needs
- Community support for people with a learning disability/mental health needs
Qualifications and Skills
- Experience of staff and service management in the social care sector; ability to deliver excellent outcomes for customers and implement initiatives to connect service users to their local community.
- Skills in positive communication and engagement; demonstrate unconditional positive regard for the people we support.
- Ability to write clear assessments, support plans and guidelines; work effectively within a team ethos.
