Salary: Up to £13.40 per hour

Location & Hours: Stockton-on-Tees, Durham

Full-Time

Working days and times: Tuesday, Thursday 6pm – 9.30pm; monthly 6pm – 9.30pm in Darlington (first Wednesday of the month)

Overview: Creative Support is a busy national charity providing person‑centred support services in over 65 local authorities. We are seeking a motivated individual to join our Regional Development Team, coordinating evening discos and planning social activities across Teesside, Darlington and North Yorkshire.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver two large weekly evening discos for adults with learning disabilities or other support needs in Middlesbrough and Stockton
  • Coordinate a small team of staff and helpers and ensure the smooth running of the events
  • Lead a monthly disco in Darlington and identify opportunities to expand the discos
  • Plan and deliver social activities across the region, including existing activities as part of the wider offer
  • Work closely with the Regional Development Team and support wider regional development initiatives
  • Maintain accurate records and coordinate resources effectively

Qualifications:

  • Experience in planning and delivering events and activities
  • Effective communication and networking skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and flexibly
  • Willingness to travel across the North East region and access to a vehicle (clean and valid driving licence required)
  • Desirable: genuine interest in and awareness of the wider social care sector
