We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity at our Extra Care service in Hull. We are a large extra care service which provides care and support for older adults with a range of additional needs within their own homes.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will work alongside another colleague to support the running of the service through the night with the support of local and national on-call services.
Relief Waking Night Support Worker Duties:- Provide person-centred support, to include personal care to a high standard in adherence with care plans, maintaining dignity and respect for individuals throughout.
- Collaborate with colleagues, agencies, families and carers, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Oversee service safety through the night between 10pm and 8am: including taking emergency calls and responding to emergency situations, taking planned care calls, checking CCTV, providing a thorough handover during shift changeovers.
As a Creative Support Bank Staff member, you'll have access to our SONA app, which allows you to pick up shifts anywhere in the country and provides information on services and shifts, as well as directions. You will be paid on a weekly basis via our Bank payroll.
A minimum of 12 months' experience in care is essential for all Relief roles.
