We have an exciting and rewarding opportunity at our Extra Care service in Hull. We are a large extra care service which provides care and support for older adults with a range of additional needs within their own homes.
As a Waking Night Support Worker, you will work alongside another colleague to ensure safe and supportive night shift service with local and national on‑call services.
Responsibilities:- Provide person‑centred support, including personal care to a high standard in adherence with care plans, maintaining dignity and respect for individuals throughout.
- Collaborate with colleagues, agencies, families and carers, demonstrating excellent communication skills.
- Oversee service safety through the night between 10 pm and 8 am: taking emergency calls and responding to emergency situations, taking planned care calls, checking CCTV, and providing a thorough handover during shift changeovers.
- A minimum of 12 months’ experience in care is essential for all Relief roles.
You must be located in and eligible to work within the UK. This post will not be open to sponsorship under the UKVI scheme, and we are unable to accept applicants with Skilled Worker Visas.
Salary, Hours & Location:£13.45 per hour (plus rolled up holiday pay). Full‑time night shifts from 10 pm to 8 am in Hull, East Yorkshire.
