We are looking for volunteers to help us run our weekly disco in Stockton-on-Tees. Volunteering with Creative Support is a great way to enrich the lives of people with support needs while helping our staff to deliver person-centred services. The Creative Support disco takes place at The Oxbridge in Stockton-on-Tees every Tuesday from 6.30-9pm. It’s a popular event, attended by people we support with a range of different support needs.

Volunteer duties:

  • Set up the room in advance, moving tables and chairs if necessary
  • Sell tickets at the door
  • Help to run the tick shop and hand out refreshments
  • Be enthusiastic and welcoming, encouraging people we support to dance
  • Report any safeguarding concerns to Creative Support staff members
  • Understand and work within Creative Support Policies and procedures, respecting boundaries
  • Attend regular supervisions with your allocated volunteer supervisor and complete any training provided

Hours: Tuesdays, 6.30-9pm.
