Overview

Creative Support is a not‑for‑profit organisation providing person‑centred support to people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health needs and dementia.

We are seeking Tamil‑speaking Relief Extra Care Support Workers to support a diverse community of older people, including Tamil‑speaking service users in Eastman Village.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide support with personal care and domestic tasks.
• Support individuals to access work, education and social opportunities.
• Work in a flexible manner on a roster basis, including evenings.
• Maintain a healthy state of wellbeing—mentally, physically and emotionally—for service users.

Qualifications & Skills

• Calm, resourceful and energetic.
• Highly motivated and hardworking.
• Positive communication and engagement skills.
• Unconditional positive regard toward service users.
• Capacity to communicate effectively in Tamil.

Training & Development

We provide a full local and corporate induction, enrolment on the Care Certificate (if pertinent) and, upon successful completion of the probationary period, automatic enrolment onto the NVQ level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care.

Regular supervision and appraisal meetings to discuss training and development needs.

Working Conditions

Flexible roster, including evenings. Must be located in the UK and eligible to work in the UK.
