We are a nationwide charity providing support and care to older people in the vibrant boroughs of Brent and Harrow. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who has the ability to develop and co-ordinate a stimulating and relevant range of activities for our clients. You will be developing activities in a collaborative manner ensuring that they meet clients’ goals, improve their wellbeing and enhance social inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • You will develop and co-ordinate a stimulating range of activities for our clients, guiding and supporting delivery.
  • Activities will be developed collaboratively to meet clients’ goals, improve their wellbeing and enhance social inclusion.
  • This is a role with a large scope for personal and professional development.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • You must be a proactive and creative person with the patience and warmth required when working in social care.
  • You will be approachable, with a kind and effervescent disposition.
  • You must be able to work alone using your own initiative as well as enjoying working in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the local community in Brent and Harrow will be advantageous.

Location and Hours

  • You will be based across our services in Brent and Harrow.
  • Working hours will be spread across 3-4 days a week, generally within the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
  • There will be an expectation to work on some evenings and weekends, so flexibility will be required.
