Creative Support is a large and successful not-for-profit social care charity supporting over 6,000 adults nationally and a provider of social housing. The Finance Support Officer will be a key member of the finance team at the Head Office in Stockport and will carry out a variety of tasks including data analysis, transactional processing, and providing administrative support to the Head of Finance.
Responsibilities
- Provide a warm and professional welcome to visitors of the finance department.
- Plan, prioritise and manage a diverse workload, exercising initiative and judgment and responding promptly and appropriately to all enquiries.
- Handle confidential information following the highest professional and ethical standards.
- Use IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, to follow and improve existing processes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in administration, preferably within finance or the social care sector.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong IT capabilities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and a confident, professional demeanor when engaging with colleagues and external stakeholders.
