Creative Support is seeking committed Female Support Workers for an exciting opportunity to join our team under the Transforming Care Agenda using a Trauma Informed approach. Our Preston Trauma Service provides three single bespoke adapted support living services with Learning Disabilities, Autism, Mental Health needs and Trauma Histories.
The Preston Trauma Service operates 24/7 to facilitate the transition and support of three women out of long stay mental health institutions to their own homes in the community.
You will be involved in supporting women with their individual support needs, achieving their goals, giving them control over their care and promoting independence in a calm and quiet environment. You will promote structure, boundaries and routine in the home and in the local community to enforce a safe and nurturing environment. You will also be involved in the effective running of the home, facilitating activities in the home, completing daily household tasks and maintaining the wellbeing of our ladies by offering consistency and predictability. We are seeking compassionate, reliable individuals who are willing to provide a person-centred approach to care.
