We are seeking a highly committed, proactive and professional Team Leader to contribute to the operational management of a supported living service in Balham, Wandsworth. Endlesham Road is a service for 5 female clients who are supported by a long-standing staff team. Ensuring a great quality of life is of paramount importance and staff support clients with managing health conditions like Epilepsy and where needed with PEG assistance. The service is a short walk from Balham Station and accessible via buses.

As a Team Leader, you will assist the Locality Manager to ensure that the service is of the highest quality and meeting all CQC standards and contract requirements. You will ensure that the service works in a cohesive and coordinated manner and that clients experience fully integrated care, support, and housing. You will ensure that the care and support delivered is personalized and provided in accordance with agreed care plans, enabling clients to enjoy wellbeing, quality of life, and community connections. You will promote and reinforce a culture of responsive, person-centred practice and active support across the service, with relationships based on respect and unconditional positive regard.

Your work will be a mixture of doing shifts on the rota and management days, and you will be required to work across the entire week, including occasional evenings and weekends.

A minimum of one year’s managerial experience of supporting people with a learning disability and autism is essential. It is also pivotal to have strong values, emotional intelligence, and good problem-solving skills. Further, it is essential to demonstrate excellent assessment, support planning, and report writing skills.

Creative Support is a not-for-profit organisation which provides high quality, person-centred support to older people and adults with a learning disability and/or autism and people with physical disabilities and mental health needs. We are an Investor in People accredited employer with a diverse team of over 5,000 well-supported staff across England. Our services in London and Essex employ around 500 staff who support around 600 individuals with care and support needs.
