Creative Support is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Team Leader with a strong understanding of learning disabilities, physical disabilities, complex health needs, and autism. This is an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated team in the Dudley area, leading high-quality supported living services.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating personalised support – Lead the delivery of care and support for four ladies living together in a bungalow with a beautiful garden, ensuring every aspect of their daily lives is guided by their needs, choices and preferences. This includes safe administration of medication, emotional reassurance, support with mobility and personal care, and enabling them to enjoy meals, activities and community outings.
  • Inspiring and supporting your team – Supervise, coach and motivate staff, volunteers and students to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. Provide clear direction, constructive feedback and ongoing development so that every team member feels confident and capable in their role.
  • Championing safeguarding – Ensure safeguarding measures are always in place to protect the ladies, making sure that staff understand, follow and uphold policies and procedures that keep people safe. Lead by example in promoting a culture of vigilance and accountability.
  • Building strong partnerships – Promote excellent customer care by maintaining positive, professional relationships with the ladies’ families, health professionals and partner agencies. Ensure communication is open, transparent and respectful at all times.
  • Nurturing relationships – Develop and sustain meaningful, trusting relationships with each of the ladies, recognising their individual personalities, cultural backgrounds and interests. Create an environment where they feel valued, respected and empowered to live fulfilling lives.
