Location: Tameside, Greater Manchester
Position: Part-Time Cook
Join us as a Cook at Wilshaw House in Ashton-under-Lyne, where we provide day care for up to 28 service users daily, diagnosed with dementia or memory impairment. You will cover shifts from 09:30 to 14:30, sometimes at short notice.
Your responsibilities include:
- Preparing and cooking meals according to an agreed menu plan, tailored to our service users’ preferences.
- Managing the kitchen area, shopping, stock control, and maintaining cleanliness in line with health and safety and food hygiene legislation.
Being part of our team means providing a reliable service and working collaboratively to ensure our service users receive the best care. Wilshaw House is conveniently located, just a 20-minute walk from the town centre and 15 minutes by bus from Ashton-under-Lyne.
Experience working with service users with mental health needs is desirable. This role is ideal for those committed to making a positive difference.
