Creative Support is a not-for-profit organisation which provides high-quality, person-centred support to older people and those with disabilities with care and support needs in Tower Hamlets and Bromley. We are seeking a proactive and well-organised individual who is passionate about working in the not-for-profit sector. You will plan and co-ordinate the staff training and recruitment for our services, and occasionally may assist in the planning and implementation of client activities. You will also help with operational matters when required.
You will be well organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail and good communication and IT skills (especially Word/Excel/PowerPoint). A good standard of verbal and written English is essential. You will be approachable with a warm and helpful telephone manner and must enjoy team working as well as working alone using your initiative.
A genuine interest in the care and support of vulnerable people and a commitment to diversity is essential. In return for your commitment, we can offer you interesting and varied work and you will enjoy visible and supportive management from our locally based senior team.
Whilst based in Tower Hamlets, you will be expected to travel across both Tower Hamlets and Bromley as required. All our services are easily reached by underground/DLR. Working hours are generally within the hours of 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday but must be worked flexibly when needed by the organization. In times of urgent need, you may be needed to help with operational management and be asked to visit or base yourselves in other services within London.
