Creative Support is a nationwide not-for-profit care provider supporting adults with a wide range of needs. We provide personalised 24/7 support to individuals with learning disabilities living in their own tenancies across all parts of Calderdale. Relief Support Workers supplement our full time staff team – with an expectation to equal the quality of service provided by our regular staff team. Promoting choice and independence and supporting people within the Calderdale area to achieve their personal outcomes are paramount to our work. Relief Support Worker Duties & Responsibilities: Supporting service users in accessing social and leisure activities Provide respectful personal care and support to individuals with cooking, cleaning, housework and other life skills Demonstrate a commitment to promoting independence for people with learning disabilities, delivering personalised support Carry out general administrative duties and housing management tasks A minimum of twelve months’ experience working with individuals with learning disabilities is essential.
