The Visitor Experience (VE) Manager is responsible for ensuring every visitor at The Pitt has a positive, memorable experience. Reporting to the Head of Operations and Programme, the VE Manager leads by example, setting and maintaining high customer service standards, carrying out regular site inspections, and helping build an inclusive, welcoming environment for all.

The role includes:

  • Increasing food and beverage sales
  • Responding to visitor feedback
  • Supporting clear communication across departments
  • Handling staff recruitment and training
  • Managing financial targets
  • Ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations

Overall, the VE Manager will boost visitor engagement, encourage repeat visits, and support the ongoing success of Granton Project CIC.

Details:

  • Salary: £35,000
  • Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week across 7 days
  • The normal working pattern includes regular weekends with days off typically taken Monday-Thursday
