The Edinburgh International Festival is looking for an experienced, passionate and dedicated Ticketing Assistant to join the team.
Salary: £13.45 per hour
Contract Type: FTC end of July – 30 August 2026
Guaranteed minimum 12 hours per week.

The Role
The role of the Ticketing Assistant is to deliver an efficient, high-quality box office service to all Edinburgh International Festival customers booking across all sales channels – over the telephone and in person. Ticketing Assistants will need to display excellent communication skills and always maintain the highest standard of customer service.
Job Responsibilities and Deliverables
- Deliver excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate customer records.
- Adhere to company data protection policies and procedures.
- Perform additional administrative tasks as required.
Guaranteed minimum of 12 hours per week, with the opportunity to take on increased hours during peak times especially during our on-sale period and immediately before and during the festival. Working hours fall within standard office hours (9:30am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday) with typical shift from 11:45am to 4:15pm. At peak times, especially immediately before and during the festival, it may be necessary to work outside these standard hours and weekends, but hours will not exceed the working time directive.
