An opportunity has arisen to join the full-time technical staff running Capital Theatres' premier venues, supporting the Stage team in providing technical facilities to visiting productions and working with the team on ongoing and future maintenance and improvement projects.

About the role

Responsible to the Head of Stage for assisting in the delivery of high-quality technical support for productions, presentations and events organised by Capital Theatres at the Festival and Kings Theatres, the Studio or elsewhere as required. The position is multi-skilled, and you will work across a variety of productions and disciplines throughout the year taking a pro-active, positive and flexible approach to making events happen.

The role will require regular evening and weekend work and you will be expected to work on your own on occasion and with visiting companies. The successful candidate must be an excellent team player with great communication skills who can work with the in-house team as well as visiting companies. You will be confident working at heights and have experience with flying. A good working knowledge of current Health and Safety practices is preferable.
