Overview

We are looking for a connected and dynamic programmer and development manager to begin a new exciting era at the Caird Hall, Dundee’s premier concert venue. Based at Caird Hall office, you will work full time, 37 hours per week. If you have any queries regarding this vacancy, please contact Anna Day on anna.day@leisureandculturedundee.com.

Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area e.g. Marketing, Event Management or relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • To strategically lead, develop and manage the programming and marketing of the Caird Hall Complex in line with the priority objectives of Leisure and Culture Dundee.

The Individual

  • Proven experience in venue management, live event operations, or a related role in the arts, entertainment, or hospitality sector.
  • Working knowledge of Office 365, including Word, Excel, Teams etc.
  • Understanding and experience of working with promoters and producers across the UK.
  • People management experience.
  • Ability to set staff standards and monitor delivery through effective performance management.
  • Proven understanding and experience in live event planning, marketing, delivery and reporting.
  • Understanding social media and marketing platforms and extensive experience of delivering marketing strategies.
  • Experience of budget management and ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

£42,416 – £47,272 per year
