Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to lead, develop and manage the operations of the Caird Hall Complex.
Responsibilities
- Strategically lead, develop and manage the programming and marketing of the Caird Hall Complex in line with the priority objectives of Leisure and Culture Dundee.
- Lead and manage live event planning, marketing, delivery and reporting with a positive can-do attitude.
- Build strong working relationships with different sections within the organisation and across venues; ensure high service standards through effective performance management.
- Drive service delivery forward and embrace change in a busy concert hall environment.
Individual
- Proven experience of leading successful business plan implementation and people management.
- Ability to set staff standards and monitor delivery through effective performance management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; friendly and personable with high levels of literacy and numeracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills; adaptable and patient with a flexible approach to dynamic demands.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area (e.g., Hospitality, Event Management) or relevant experience.
Salary: £42,416 – £47,272 per year
