We're seeking passionate Music Staff to join our Angus choir based in Forfar. This is your chance to be part of a vibrant musical community for children and young people, using the renowned Kodály approach to music education.
What you'll do:
- Teach engaging, games-based musicianship classes using the Kodály methodology
- Support singing rehearsals with age-appropriate repertoire
- Help young singers progress through Bronze, Silver, and Gold Award certifications
- Contribute to exciting Winter and Summer showcase concerts
What we're looking for:
- Training in the Kodály approach to musicianship
- Experience working with young people
- Passion for nurturing musical development in children
- Commitment to NYCOS's mission of promoting choral singing in Scotland
Hours: Thursday evenings, up to 2 hours per week for 26 weeks during term time, plus concerts.
