Do you love film? Do you love numbers and spreadsheets? Conic is seeking a Sales and Finance Assistant to join the team in our central Glasgow office. This is a part-time role, 3 days per week, totalling 21 hours/week (ideally over 3 days, but some flexibility possible). It is an initial 6-month contract with a pay rate of £13.50/hour (based on a 35-hour FTE of £24,570).
Conic is an independent UK and Ireland film distributor working with bold, distinctive films from both emerging and established filmmakers. We release across theatrical, home entertainment and digital platforms, collaborating closely with filmmakers, sales agents, exhibitors and partners to bring great cinema to audiences.
We are a small, dynamic team, and this role offers hands-on involvement across the commercial life of a film, from sales administration to financial reporting, making it an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career in film distribution.
We are seeking a Sales and Finance Assistant to support our sales, distribution and finance operations. This is a detail-oriented, organisational role that sits at the heart of the company, supporting revenue tracking, invoicing, reporting and day-to-day sales administration across theatrical and non-theatrical releases.
The role is well suited to someone with a strong interest in independent film, excellent numerical and organisational skills, and a desire to gain a broad understanding of how films are released and monetised in the UK and Ireland.
