Project Archivist – Govanhill Baths Project

Reporting to: Archive and Heritage Manager

Contract: Part-time, 22.5 hours (3 days a week). Fixed-Term, 12 months from 11 May 2026 until 30 April 2027.

Salary: £19,071 (£31,361 full time equivalent) + 4% pension.

Location: Govanhill Baths Community Trust, Glasgow.

Funded by: The National Archives – Archives Revealed.

Role Overview

The Project Archivist will play a central role in delivering a major cataloguing and engagement project for Govanhill Baths Archive (GBA). The postholder will lead the item-level cataloguing of a unique and nationally significant community archive documenting over a century of social, cultural, and civic history, including the Save Our Pool campaign and the ongoing work of Govanhill Baths Community Trust.
