About the Role
We’re a fast-growing startup, and we’re excited to be expanding our team during our busy period. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team at an exciting stage of our journey, with the potential to join the team permanently after a successful Christmas sales period.
Your Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and dispatch both D2C and B2B orders daily using our fulfilment software.
- Maintain an organised warehouse and track inventory as required.
- Help with incoming stock deliveries.
- Assist in the finishing process by adding audio to book blocks (training will be provided).
- Work closely with the Customer Service and Publishing Associate to manage replacement orders, returns and new product launches.
- As part of a startup, flexibility is key—you may need to take on additional tasks to support the team if the role is extended beyond the Christmas period.
What We’re Looking For
- Essential: Basic but confident IT skills
- Essential: Ability to lift and move heavy or bulky items.
- Essential: Strong attention to detail to ensure orders are packed and labelled accurately.
- Essential: Highly organised, with the ability to manage high order volumes, deliveries, and book-finishing to tight deadlines.
- Essential: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Essential: Fluent in English.
- Desirable: Experience using fulfilment or inventory management software (Zoho Inventory experience is a plus).
- Desirable: Experience with e-commerce platforms like Shopify, Sendcloud, or other fulfilment tools.
- Desirable: A passion for books, audiobooks, or literacy.
- Desirable: Familiarity with audio technology or production tools.
- Desirable: Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or fulfilment operations.
