Falkirk Council are looking for an exceptional individual to lead on Marketing as part of the friendly and dedicated team working on HippFest 2026.
Fee: £13,560 - £18,306 (113 days @ £120 - £162 p/d). (FTE 0.4) (£27,120 - £36,612 per annum pro rata)
Term: 1 Sep 2025 – 31 Aug 2026

HippFest is Scotland’s first and only festival of silent film with live music, centred in and inspired by Scotland’s oldest cinema, featuring exceptional screenings, commissions, workshops, community events and touring.
This is an exciting role that will be vital in increasing the Festival’s audience and ensuring the Festival fulfils its strategic ambitions. Part of a small but dynamic team you will be responsible for:
- Planning, budgeting and delivery of the Festival’s strategic marketing plan
- Overseeing creation of marketing content and materials
- Email campaigns
- Monitoring ticket sales and liaising with Box Office
- Managing the designer (freelance)
- Ensuring that HippFest webpages are maintained and updated
You will work closely with the HippFest team leads on Digital Content and PR to develop digital advertising campaigns and generate PR coverage.
HippFest has secured Creative Scotland Multi-Year funding for 2025-2028.
