Overview
Seeking an experienced Festival Manager to deliver the 2026 festival (29th August – 6th September) and take this highly regarded, popular, well-loved annual event forward into 2027. Nairn Book & Arts Festival is an annual celebration of the arts, deeply embedded in our community, with a reputation for producing a unique and innovative programme of cultural events, giving a platform to authors, musicians, artists and performers from across Scotland and the wider UK, while nurturing the local creative community.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the 2026 festival and plan for the 2027 event.
- Coordinate all aspects of festival planning and execution within a tight timeline.
- Manage a mid-scale working events budget.
- Deliver a sales-led marketing strategy.
- Build cross-community networks and partnerships.
Key Skills
- Proven track record of successful events management at a senior level.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
