Culture Counts are recruiting for a new Engagement and Communications Manager (0.6FTE). This role is a vital part of our small team, leading on communications and engagement. The successful candidate will: Lead communications and engagement with the Culture Counts network, which spans arts, heritage, and creative industries organisations. Engage with wider stakeholders, including members of the public, Scottish Government, elected representatives, and partner organisations. Gather, assess, and share knowledge across the network, consult widely on key issues and advocacy priorities. Ensure a wide range of voices are heard in informing and influencing cultural policy. Salary: Β£34,300 (FTE) Hours: 0.6 FTE, based on 35 hours per week. This equates to an adjusted annual salary of Β£19,200. Occasional evening, weekend work, and overnight stays are required. Appropriate TOIL and travel expenses will be provided. Location: Home-based, anywhere in Scotland (must have the legal right to work in the UK). Occasional travel across Scotland is required. Contract: Initially a 12-month role, with potential extension subject to funding. The position is contracted and paid via Federation of Scottish Theatre (FST), and is subject to FST’s employment policies. Key dates: Application deadline: Friday 20 June 2025 at 17:00.
