The Visitor Experience (VE) Manager is responsible for ensuring every visitor at The Pitt has a positive, memorable experience. Reporting to the Head of Operations and Programme, the VE Manager leads by example, setting and maintaining high customer service standards, carrying out regular site inspections, and helping build an inclusive, welcoming environment for all.

The role includes:

  • Increasing food and beverage sales
  • Responding to visitor feedback
  • Supporting clear communication across departments
  • Handling staff recruitment and training
  • Managing financial targets
  • Ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations

Details:

  • Salary: £35,000
  • Contract: Permanent, 40 hours per week across 7 days. The Pitt comes alive in the evenings and on weekends, so the normal working pattern includes regular weekends with days off typically taken Monday-Thursday.
