Call for professional singers (sopranos, altos, tenors, basses) to form a choir for a premiere performance of Savourna Stevenson's new cantata titled 'Song of Stars'. We are looking for professional singers to form a choir as required for the premiere performance of Savourna Stevenson's new cantata titled ‘Song of Stars’ for a cappella choir and soloists based on The Little Prince. Multiple performances are scheduled for October 2026 in Scotland.
Please provide a CV, covering letter (including links to media, if applicable) with a recording (video preferably) of 1 piece of your choice (art song, aria, oratorio, traditional etc.). Successful applicants will be contacted and invited to a follow up meeting in person with the composer and the music director, Maciej Granat.
This is a paid job opportunity. The number of rehearsals/hours will be confirmed. We offer £250 per rehearsal (up to 4 hours) and the same for the concert day. Travel expenses will be covered.
