The Artist Development Assistant is part of the wider Artist Services Team, focusing on the delivery of events and the administration of the Artist Development Office. The role reports to the Artist Development Manager and involves supporting fringe participants in their professional and creative development, with responsibilities split across event delivery, administration, or a combination of both based on skills and experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide support and advice to fringe participants in professional and creative development.
  • Assist with the delivery of event-related activities.
  • Handle administrative tasks for the Artist Development Office.
  • Collaborate closely with the Arts Industry Office.
  • Work on a rota basis during the festival and out‑of‑festival periods.

Working hours and location:

Standard: 10:00 to 18:00, Monday to Friday (five days). During the festival: 09:30 to 17:30, five days over seven, on a rota. August: rota basis, five days per week, 09:30 to 17:30. Based from the Society's offices and Fringe Central. Remote working is not offered.

Pay: £13.45 per hour.
