Mix Up Theatre are looking to hire freelance drama workshop leaders and class assistants to join our team in Scotland - Edinburgh / Dunfermline / South Queensferry / Linlithgow. We are currently looking for Edinburgh / Dunfermline / Fife / Linlithgow / South Queensferry based freelance workshop leaders for children's drama classes ages 3-18. Our drama classes run for ages 3-18.

Schedule and locations

  • Mondays – Edinburgh
  • Tuesdays – Dunfermline
  • Wednesdays – Linlithgow / Dunfermline
  • Thursdays – South Queensferry / Linlithgow
  • Fridays – South Queensferry / Linlithgow
  • Saturdays – Edinburgh

Responsibilities

  • Lead freelance drama workshops for children aged 3-18.
  • Assistants support during classes as required.
  • Deliver sessions in the listed areas and days; contribute to programme development as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with children.
  • Current PVG disclosure (or equivalent as required).

Compensation

  • Starting rate Β£25 per hour for Workshop Leaders.
  • Starting rate Β£13 per hour for Assistants.

Additional opportunities

We are also keen to hear from practitioners who can provide one-off skills workshops on specific theatre skills (e.g. movement, clowning, musical theatre, etc.).
