Deputy Stage Manager for major pantomime

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain a clear and accurate prompt copy for the show, ensure all administration is carried out efficiently and complete records are created.
  • Prepare and maintain the rehearsal space to allow rehearsals to proceed efficiently and safely.
  • Provide daily rehearsal calls for the company and assist in the day-to-day planning and scheduling of all activities.
  • Create daily rehearsal notes and distribute these as instructed by the Stage Manager/Production Manager.
  • Inform the Stage Manager at the earliest possible opportunity of any potential problems and ensure any action requiring risk assessment is highlighted to all relevant staff.
  • Assist the Stage Manager and Production Manager in producing risk assessments as required.
  • Call the show and participate with both the get in and get out.
  • In consultation with the Stage Manager, create and distribute a show report after each performance.

Dates & Fee

Dates - 17th November - 28th December

Fee - £3,250.00 - £3,750.00 dependent on experience. Approx 250hrs total.

Approx 42 hours per week
