We are looking for a dance/movement practitioner to join our team to lead and development our sessions with adults with additional support needs

Creative Spark Theatre Arts is local community arts charity striving to use the arts to connect and empower all members of our community. We work with everyone in our community leading classes and projects using the arts to that develop confidence and improve self-esteem in everyone we work with. We have weekly theatre arts classes for young people as well as community projects for all members of our community.

This role is involving a community project for participants that have Additional Support Needs.
The successful candidate will plan and lead high-quality movement/dance-based workshops.
Role is subject to a satisfactory PVG check.

For this role you must –

– Have experience working with participants that have Additional Support Needs.

– A background in drama, movement, physical theatre, or related practice.

– Will be excited to contribute to the development of innovative arts programmes with real social impact.

– Will create a warm, inclusive environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and able to express themselves.

– Proven experience delivering participatory arts sessions in community or educational settings.

– Excellent facilitation and communication skills.

– Commitment to inclusion, wellbeing, and the power of the arts to transform lives.

– Understand our ethos of ‘Be Bold, Be Brave, Be You’.

Rate of pay for this session is £35 p/h plus a weekly prep and travel fee of £15
