An exciting and fun opportunity to join one of Scotland\’s best Halloween events!
Building on the success of last year\’s Halloween event, Craigies Farm just outside Edinburgh is expanding and offering Scotland\’s biggest and best Pumpkin Festival!
As part of this event, we are looking for enthusiastic and energetic candidates to take on a variety of roles, from storytelling type characters, to roaming/scare characters.
Our successful candidates will be assigned a specific role and provided with a script. They will have to be available in dates throughout October for a mixture of daytime performances, evening performances and weekends. We are looking for people who love performing and love providing an amazing experience!
Responsibilities
· To perform the role assigned to you within the Pumpkin Festival
· To learn the script associated with the role you are assigned
· To provide a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors (well, as far as your character allows)
· To act in a professional manner at all times
· To deliver all performances with a high level of energy and enthusiasm
· To be punctual and reliable
Candidate Requirements
· A qualification in acting and performance or equivalent relevant experience
· Availability during October, including daytime, evenings and weekends
· Experience within a customer service environment would be beneficial
· A high level of enthusiasm and energy
· A high level of reliability
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £12.50-£14.50 per hour depending upon experience
Hours: Part time, between 10-20 hours per week
