Overview

The Community Engagement Coordinator is a champion for fair and equal access to cinema. They work to ensure that as many people as possible can access GFT and engage with and benefit from participation in our programmes. The role focuses on understanding the cultural needs of our local community, people who face systemic inequalities and disadvantage and people currently under-represented in our audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Programme our existing flagship equalities initiatives and work closely with colleagues across Glasgow Film to identify new opportunities to sustain their impact, reach new audiences and nurture new partnerships.
  • As part of the Programme team, directly involved in programming film screenings and events for and with a wide range of diverse audiences local to GFT.

Salary and terms

Salary: £31,920 per annum
Term: Permanent
