Universal Hall Promotions manages and programmes the 350 seat Universal Hall. Recently approved for Multi Year Funding, we are looking for a new Director.
Purpose of the Role
The Director is the senior leader of Universal Hall Promotions (UHP), responsible for providing artistic, strategic, and operational leadership to the organisation. Reporting directly to the Board, the Director will act as UHP’s principal ambassador, ensuring the organisation delivers its artistic vision, fulfils its legal and funding obligations, and continues to develop as a sustainable, values‑led, multi‑year funded organisation. This role combines artistic leadership with executive responsibility and offers the opportunity to build on a strong legacy while shaping UHP’s future at a time of renewed momentum.
Terms and Conditions
- Contract Length: ASAP to March 2028 (fixed term, renewable subject to funding).
- Remuneration: 0.8 FTE | £36,000–£40,000 pro rata dependent on experience.
- Place of Work: Universal Hall Findhorn. Some flexible working from home may be possible at the discretion of the Board.
- Hours of Work: A Full Time Equivalent is a 35 hour week.
