David Dale Gallery is seeking to recruit six freelance positions to participate in a group formed to study what constitutes a group and the methods by which it organises itself. The role takes place during the gallery’s open hours as part of the exhibition "No One Is Ready" by Iris Touliаtou, presented within Glasgow International 2026.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the group’s discussions and activities to examine group dynamics.
  • Work during the gallery’s open hours, with flexible scheduling including some evening and weekend hours.
  • Collaborate with other group members and ensure group working and schedules are feasible.

Qualifications

  • Minimum age 18+.
  • No prior cultural work experience required.
  • Experience with self‑organised or collective practice and the ability to communicate openly within a group are desirable.

Compensation and Hours

  • Fixed term: 50 hours, paid at the Real Living Wage (£13.45 per hour).
  • Work to be completed between 1 June 2026 and 11 July 2026 inclusive, during the gallery’s open hours.
  • Location: 161 Broad Street, Glasgow, G40 2QR. Some evening and weekend work will be required.
