About Us: Creative Sample Studio is a London-based design bureau and fashion brand development studio working with established, emerging and growing fashion brands. We partner with brands across product development, sampling and production -- helping them bring ideas to life and scale.

The Role: This is a hybrid leadership role combining hands-on operations/product development with active sales and business development. You will work directly with the founders, lead projects and people, own delivery and processes, and drive new client acquisition. This role reports into founders and is a clear path to Head of Department.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leadership & Ownership: Lead product development and delivery processes end-to-end. Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams across fittings, sampling and production. Take responsibility for timelines, structure and outcomes; drive accountability across the studio. Coach and mentor team members; build scalable workflows.
  • Client & Business Development: Own client relationships from first contact through delivery. Proactively generate new business through outreach, networking and relationship building. Present proposals, win briefs and convert leads into revenue. Maintain upsell and retention activities to grow studio income.
  • Product, Technical & Operations: Oversee development from concept, through fittings and approvals, to production. Lead fittings and technical reviews -- must have strong garment construction knowledge to direct pattern, fit and sew decisions. Manage production timelines, budgets and vendor relations to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Identify process inefficiencies and implement improvements across sampling and production workflows.

Who We’re Looking For: You are driven, proactive and ambitious with a blend of technical fashion experience and commercial instinct. You likely:

  • Have experience in fashion product development, production or brand-side roles.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction, pattern/readings and fitting processes (able to lead fittings and give technical direction).
  • Confident communicator in English and comfortable leading client conversations.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Commercially minded with experience or aptitude for sales/business development.
  • Take initiative, push projects forward and want to grow into a leadership position.

What We Value:

  • Ambition and growth mindset
  • Strong communication and leadership potential
  • Commercial thinking and client focus
  • Ability to take responsibility and make decisions

Compensation: Base salary Commission on client acquisition (discussed during interview)
