At ENDO Chelsea, there are only ten seats. Guests sit in front of Chef Kazutoshi Endo as he shares the food, craftsmanship and spirit of Japan. It’s an intimate restaurant where every detail matters, and every person on the team plays an important part in creating the experience.
We’re looking for a Kitchen Porter to join our close-knit team and help keep our kitchen running smoothly. This is an essential role: the care you put into keeping the kitchen clean, organised and ready for service helps the whole team deliver something special.
Who you are
- A reliable and hardworking team player who takes pride in doing a job well
- Someone who enjoys being part of a team and supporting the people around them
- Organised and attentive, with a positive, can-do attitude
- Comfortable working in a busy kitchen and staying calm during service
- Interested in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Previous kitchen experience is welcome, but a willingness to learn and support the team matters most
What you’ll do
- Keep the kitchen, wash-up and storage areas clean, tidy and organised
- Wash and put away crockery, cutlery, kitchen equipment and utensils
- Make sure the chefs have clean equipment ready when they need it
- Help with deliveries, putting stock away and keeping storage areas organised
- Dispose of waste and recycling safely and responsibly
- Follow food safety, hygiene and health and safety procedures
- Support the kitchen team with other tasks when needed
