Love meeting new people? Curious about businesses and how they grow? Enjoy opening doors and creating opportunities? We're working with an ambitious independent integrated marketing agency that's looking to strengthen its commercial team with the appointment of a Business Development Executive. This isn't a traditional sales role. You'll be helping create opportunities for an established agency with an excellent reputation, longstanding client relationships and an impressive portfolio of work across branding, digital, creative, strategy, content and campaigns.

You'll be the person identifying potential new clients, starting conversations, building relationships and arranging meetings for the senior commercial team. If you enjoy talking to people, are naturally curious and get a buzz from creating opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing:

  • Identifying and researching prospective clients across a variety of sectors.
  • Reaching out through phone, email, LinkedIn and other channels to introduce the agency and start conversations.
  • Qualifying opportunities and arranging meetings for senior commercial colleagues.
  • Managing and nurturing prospects through HubSpot, ensuring activity is well organised and followed up.
  • Working alongside agency leadership to support new business campaigns and commercial initiatives.
  • Keeping a close eye on the pipeline, helping ensure opportunities continue to move forward.
  • Representing the agency professionally and helping build awareness of its capabilities.

About you:

  • Comfortable speaking with senior decision makers.
  • Confident picking up the phone and starting conversations.
  • Friendly, engaging and naturally personable.
  • Organised and able to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Commercially curious and interested in how businesses grow.
  • Self‑motivated, resilient and proactive.
  • Keen to build a long‑term career in business development.

Experience using HubSpot or another CRM would be useful, but isn't essential.

What's in it for you?

This is an opportunity to join a successful, growing agency where you'll play a genuine part in its future growth. You'll work closely with experienced senior leaders, gain exposure to integrated marketing and have the chance to develop your commercial skills within a collaborative, supportive environment. As the agency grows, so will your opportunities.

Our Commitment to Diversity:

We are committed to improving diversity, equity and inclusion within the sectors we serve. We encourage applications for this role from all backgrounds and communities and offer equal opportunities to all candidates regardless of race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, age, and any other protected status. Should you require any reasonable adjustments at any point in the recruitment process we are very happy to discuss and work with you to accommodate these.
