We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Designer / Creative Lead to join our client a leading integrated branding agency. They specialise in employee engagement and internal communications strategies and work with great global brands across a range of sectors. This position will report directly into the Creative Director and will assist with managing a small team of designers. Their offices are in central London and they work to a hybrid model.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for leading the design on projects and campaigns on topics ranging from diversity to vision and values, health and wellbeing to transformation programmes. You will provide the creative spark for initial ideas, working them up into campaign concepts for presentation to the client and then overseeing their development through to final delivery. You’ll need to be a team player, enthusiastic and confident about your ideas but understanding of strategic and client input. Projects range from digital campaigns, e-learning projects, video campaigns, posters, training literature, animation.
Responsibilities will include:
- Creative ideas/strategy that can be developed into campaign concepts
- Able to create a number of creative routes from a single brief
- Project focussed and able to lead creatively on client accounts and campaigns
- Comfortable working with copy, tone and language
- Confident in presenting and explaining concepts to both team and client
- Understanding and being skilled in all aspects of a creative process
- Understand how to reflect the strategic imperatives in a creative route
- Ensure all creative routes fulfil the brief and how to amend or develop them if not.
- Take the diagnostic findings/ recommendations from a brief and incorporate into ideas
- Write a strategic creative rationale/ outline for creative route
- Articulate the strategic reasons for ideas to team and client
- Use research to help develop the best ideas
- Skilled with Adobe creative cloud – InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are a must
- Create high standard concept presentations
- Visualise ideas to a very good standard
- Produce high level complex artwork
You will have
- A proven track record in strategic and creative thinking
- Minimum of 10 years agency experience
- Able to inspire and mentor others to find and develop ideas
- A great communicator and influencer
- Appreciation of the role of creativity in employee engagement
- Ability to work closely and diplomatically with a tight-knit team
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Sound project management skills
