FREELANCE MID-SENIOR MOTION DESIGNER / ANIMATOR

London (Hybrid) | Freelance Contract | £275 per day | Inside IR35 | Umbrella

We're partnering with a well-known online music platform that is investing heavily in creative content and brand storytelling and are looking for a highly skilled Mid-Senior Motion Designer to join the team on a freelance basis.

This is an opportunity to work on high-profile brand, content and campaign projects, creating engaging motion-led experiences that bring ideas, brands and stories to life.

THE ROLE

You'll collaborate with creatives, marketers and stakeholders to develop world-class motion content across social, digital, marketing and brand channels.

We're looking for someone who combines exceptional motion craft with strong design fundamentals and a keen eye for storytelling, pacing and detail.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create engaging motion content across brand, campaign and social projects

• Bring brand identities and design systems to life through animation

• Develop high-quality motion graphics from concept through to final delivery

• Animate typography, layouts and visual assets with a strong sense of craft

• Work closely with creative teams to develop compelling visual narratives

• Ensure all outputs meet the highest standards of quality and consistency

• Contribute ideas, concepts and creative solutions throughout projects

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience in Motion Design, Animation or Motion Graphics

• Advanced AFX skills

• Strong understanding of animation principles and motion fundamentals

• Expert knowledge of typography, timing, pacing and storytelling

• Strong design eye with experience working from brand guidelines

• Ability to create polished, premium-quality motion content

• Experience managing multiple workstreams and deadlines

• Excellent attention to detail

HIGHLY DESIRABLE
