We are partnering with a fast-growing health and fitness technology brand who are looking for a Senior Creative Design Manager.
The Role
We are hiring a Senior Creative Design Manager to take ownership of the brand’s visual standards across digital. This role sits between Creative Director and Design Lead, combining creative leadership, UX/UI oversight, and strong agency management. This is a management-led role where the majority of your time will be spent leading and elevating external design partners, while still requiring strong hands-on design capability when needed. You will act as the main creative lead within the studio, setting the benchmark for design quality and ensuring consistency across all outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and uphold the visual identity across all digital touchpoints
- Act as the final authority on design and UX quality
- Maintain and protect brand standards across channels
- Ensure consistently premium, on-brand creative output
Agency Management
- Work within a network of 5–6 external design agencies
- Lead briefing, feedback, approval, and quality control processes
- Push agencies to meet expected standards and drive continuous improvement
- Support the long-term goal of transitioning agency work to an in-house team
UX/UI & Website Ownership
- Own UX/UI standards for the website and key user journeys
- Collaborate with agencies and developers on new builds and optimisations
- Review and sign off final website outputs
Hands-on Design
- Provide hands-on design support when required
- Guide agencies creatively and step in during launches or fast turnarounds
- Lead by example to demonstrate expected creative standards
About You
- 5+ years’ experience in digital, UX/UI, or brand design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital and UX work
- Confident giving clear, direct, and constructive design feedback
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment
- Experienced in retail, e-commerce, and consumer brand design
- Experienced managing agencies and owning creative quality
