Overview

Freelance PR & Communications Specialist - 1 role for each of Languages proficiency in (Spanish, Dutch, French, German, Polish, Portuguese, Swedish, Finnish, Norwegian, Dutch) - Remote UK. Working market knowledge and connections required within the Country / Location specialised in.

Contract: Freelance / Project-based

Duration: Approx. 10–12 days, delivered flexibly across several bursts

Markets: Spain (launching next month), The Netherlands, with future opportunities across France, Germany, Poland, Portugal, and the Nordics (Norway, Finland, Sweden). 1 Role/ Position for each location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Secure earned media coverage across national newspapers
  • Secure coverage in consumer sports and lifestyle titles
  • Leverage strong, existing relationships with journalists and editors
  • Support translation and localisation of PR, social, and advertising materials to ensure cultural and linguistic accuracy for local markets
  • Collaborate closely with a central PR team to align messaging and activity

Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in PR, communications, or media relations
  • Demonstrable track record of delivering consistent media coverage
  • Strong journalist relationships in relevant national and consumer media
  • Experience working with consumer brands
