Mid-Weight Podcast Producer 6 month contract

Rate: £26 per hour, weekly pay

We’re hiring a Podcast Producer to join a high-quality, editorially driven show for a 6-month freelance contract. You’ll be working across the full podcast production cycle – from planning and recording to editing and publishing – with a strong emphasis on journalistic integrity and audio storytelling.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Plan and Coordinate episodes: research topics, book guests, and manage content calendars
- Record and Edit engaging episodes using Adobe Audition
- Create Content: write show notes, intros, and transitions
- Manage Guests: from scheduling to communication and prep
- Publish and Distribute: Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Google Podcasts
- Quality Control: ensure every episode meets high editorial and audio standards
- Work to Reuters-level editorial benchmarks for sourcing, accuracy, and balance
What We’re Looking For
- At least 1 years experience in podcast production, journalism, or audio storytelling
- Solid editorial judgment and storytelling skills
- Confidence working independently without creative supervision
- Proficiency in Adobe Audition (training provided for all other software)
- Strong attention to detail and audio quality
